The excellent ' I'm Gonna Stick Right With You' is cut from the same cloth as Will Oldham(aka Bonnie Prince Billy) who breathed new credibility into the folk singer/songwriter genre.
However Stephen's vocals and songwriting are generally more akin to David Grey at his peak. We should have more of an idea of whether he'll make it as Belfast's answer to David Gray when his first studio EP,' Raw Soul' is released.

THE CRIPPLE
Still the green grass shoots up between your toes
And pricks into the holes of your old worn shoes.
While the tired drape fades torn
Battered on the waves of a relentless sterile wind.
Only the land is our refuge
With wells that quench us all the same.
Come on
Stranger you are no more
You'll be left lying.
